A friend of mine came up to me,
She said,
"If love, then why let go?"
She was furious while asking me that.

I just laughed at the way she reacts.
She was right though,
If you really love someone,
Why should you let it go?
Why not fight for them?

I totally understand her.
I've been her, and the other person.

I just smiled at her and say,
The fight is worth it if you have a team.
If you're the only one on the frontlines,
then, who will heal you?

The person who you thought would aid you,
is the person who also maim and abet you.
If they are on the other side,
then, who are you defending for?

Letting go hurts,
but so does holding on to the sinking ship.

Before you love someone,
ask yourself,
who loves you first before them?
the answer will always be you.

"But I hate myself."
Try drown yourself in the ocean,
and see whether your body gasps for air, desperately.

So, sometimes letting go is the best option.
I'd rather go through a painful healing progress,
rather than going through an endless hurt of holding on to something uncertain.

Love, Juita.
